Teen Advisors, Inc. has an open application policy with regards to employment.
What does that mean?  It means we accept employment applications at any time, whether we currently have an opening or not!  We keep all employment applications on file whenever we receive them.  Then, whenever we do have an opening on staff, the first place we look is in that file of applications received.  So, if the thought has ever crossed your mind, "I think I'd like to work for TAs someday," then we invite you to go ahead and put in your application with us today!

Aaron Wall, Assistant Director, Teen Advisors High School Program

Aaron is a Columbus native and a graduate of Columbus High School, where he was a TA for 3 years. He served on Grad Staff before being hired on as a part-time Field Staffer. After graduating from Beacon University, Aaron was promoted to a full-time position as Assistant Director of the TA high school program. Among many other roles, Aaron manages our Tuesday Night Bible Study and Honor Council.  He is very happily married to the wonderful Abby Alexander Wall!

Amanda Smith, Administrative Assistant

Amanda is in her final semester at Columbus State University studying Psychology.  After graduation, she will immediately begin Grad School in pursuit of a Counseling degree!  An excellent friend and listener, Amanda is a fantastic person to have answering the door & phone for the TA office, in between her many other administrative tasks!  Amanda was a TA for 3 years at Columbus High before joining Grad Staff and Staff as a college student.  She loves her sister, her roommate, and a nice cup of coffee!

Caleb Carr, Assistant Director, Velocity Middle School Program

Caleb is a Columbus native, and married to Leah Carr. He began his involvement with Teen Advisors at Hardaway High School as a junior and continued with it through college at CSU where he received a degree in Fine Arts. Caleb loves backpacking, reading a good book, playing any and all sort of games athletic or not, making art of whatever sort he can, and spending time with his wife of 3 amazing years. He loves his job and is very blessed to be able to work with Teen Advisors on a full-time basis, an organization that had such a positive impact on him when he was in school.

A recent graduate of Columbus State University, Carey is a world-traveler who is fluent in French!  A 3-year TA at Columbus High, Carey has faithfully served in many volunteer roles for TAs since high school.  Now on staff as an Admin Assistant, Carey is one of THE most genuinely friendly people you will ever meet!  She is full of life, and it is contagious!  Carey loves naps, hiking, camping, sewing, and naps (she's part cat).

Chas is a remarkable young man whose dedication to God, his family, his education, and his ministry is nothing short of phenomenal.  As a member of TAs at Hardaway High, Chas was very influential as both an athlete and a student mentor.  Since high school, Chas has been around the world serving Christ on multiple continents in many mission fields.  We are thankful that - for this season - God has called Chas to serve with TAs right here in Columbus!  A recipient of the very prestigious "Chas Jordan Award", Chas is currently serves as captain of Team Awesome.

DB Woolbright, Field Staff Intern, Velocity Middle School Program

DB -- Deebs, David Bret, Disquised Boy -- is the man.  It's just that simple!  A three-year TA at Brookstone-then-Hardaway, DB now joins our staff as a Velocity Intern.  Along with being an avid thespian, soccer player, and drummer-extraordinaire, DB is also a freshman at Columbus State University.  With a quick wit, a great heart, and a friendly & welcoming personality, DB will do a great job this year working with middle schoolers!

Debbie Smith, Adult Volunteers Director

Debbie has served as our Adult Volunteers Director for almost 11 years!  Prior to that, she was an active Volunteer for TAs, serving as a Team Helper with the Hardaway High TA program, where both of her children were TAs.  A former middle school teacher, Debbie's favorite pasttime is to travel with her husband of 34 years, William.  They only have 1 more state until they will have visited all 50 together!

Dianna Cash, Financial Manager

Dianna says that getting to work for Teen Advisors is a huge gift from God!  She's worked for TAs since 2002 in a variety of roles. Currently, Dianna is the Financial Manager, which basically means that most of her office activities involve files and money! She's thankful that she gets to invest in this ministry through administration and doing behind the scenes stuff - that frees others up to do more "up front" ministry and also frees her up to be a mom and wife!

Hayley Henderson, Field Staff Intern, Teen Advisors High School Program

Hayley was born in Columbus, GA, but raised as a Harris County girl. A graduate from Harris County High in 2008, she is now a junior at Columbus State University with a double major in Communication with a focus in Broadcast Journalism, and in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. Hayley has been a part of the Teen Advisor family for five years now, and it holds such a special place in her heart!  She truly feels this organization has helped her become the strong leader that she is today socially and spiritually. In her spare time, she serves as a National Youth Council member for March of Dimes, High School Youth Leader at Cascade Hills Church, and you might have seen her at her part-time job at American Eagle. Regardless of where she is, Hayley will always try to bring a smile to your face!

As a wife, mother, homemaker, professional, and volunteer, Janet has already left a considerable legacy on the world for the glory of God!  She's continues that with her service in TAs as Admin Director.  Talented, skillful, and experienced, Janet embraces her service in this ministry with humility and passion, and constantly goes above and beyond to make TAs great!  What a blessing she and her family have been to TAs!

With more than eight years on staff with TAs, Kaci absolutely loves her job! She's married to her best friend, Jay, and is addicted to peanut butter! Kaci loves to run... it's her sanity, the favorite part of her day, and her favorite way to connect with God. Kaci LOVES Georgia football and lives for college football season! She has an amazing family and an absolutely blessed life!

Leah has been involved in Teen Advisors ever since she fell in love with the organization during her 10th grade year. After high school, she served on Grad Staff all 4 years of college, while studying Religion at the fabulous University of Georgia. After graduating from UGA in 2006, she moved back to Columbus and came on staff with Velocity. Some of her favorite parts of her job include, but are not limited to: laughing a lot with hilarious middle school students, Messy Field Day, getting to work alongside her husband, watching the Velocity students do Hip Hop Abs at 2am at the Lock-In, and getting to know and hang out with the most incredible middle schoolers in the world!

Lizzie G graduated from Columbus High School in 2010 and is now a freshman at CSU!  She is a lifelong TA, having joined Velocity in the 7th grade, and faithfully maintaining her membership all the way through high school.  Lizzie is a certified Yoga instructor who teaches at the YMCA.  She is also serving fabulously in the Velocity middle school program as a Field Staff Intern!  Yay, Lizzie, and YAY, GOD!

Michael was born and raised in Columbus, GA, and joined TAs during his senior year at Columbus High. Since then he has swiftly risen through the ranks from TA to Grad Staff to Field Staff due, in part, to his overall strength of character and general awesomeness. Now he works with Velocity and co-hosts the TA Radio Show every Tuesday night from 8-10pm on 88.5 fm The Truth.

Nick is a Columbus native who attended Reese Road, Fort, and Hardaway.  He went to college at Shorter, where he gained invaluable experience, education, and friendships - and best of all, his very best friend: Dianna!  Nick was a TA for 3 years in high school, Grad Staff for 4 years, and has now worked for TAs for 8+ years.  He has three of the most amazing & beautiful children on the planet, and loves God, sports, games, music, Cherry Coke, and exploring.

Shelby is a sophomore college student here in Columbus, deciding between Columbus Tech's Nursing program and CSU's Pre-Med program.  She got involved in TAs last year as a Grad Staff, and jumped right into the ministry with both feet!  A faithful volunteer last year, she now serves our high school program as a Field Staff Intern.  Shelby is a talented photographer, an excellent friend, and just an all-around delightful person to be around!

Susan Barnes, Special Projects Manager

Susan is the proud wife of Ronnie and mother of 2 TA grads.  After serving TAs in a voluntary capacity for several years at Hardaway as a Team Helper, then Team Leader, Susan came on staff as our National Director, serving all of the TA programs that reside outside of the Columbus-area.  Over her 11 years of service, her job has transformed into Special Projects Manager, where she helps oversee all of the special events and activities held by the Board and Staff.  Susan is wonderfully talented and passionate -- a fabulous provision from God for TAs!
